Physical and chemical properties
Molecular Formula: MnCO₃, Molecular Weight: 114.95, CAS No.: 598-62-9
Appearance: Light pink to light brown ultrafine powder with uniform particle size distribution (D50: 1-10 μm normally, adjustable as required).
Properties: Subjected to ultrafine grinding and classification, it features remarkably improved dispersibility, fluidity and reactivity . It shares the same chemical properties as manganese carbonate, being insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in dilute inorganic acids. It is stable when dry but prone to oxidation in humid conditions.
Particle Size Advantages: It has a high specific surface area, enabling more sufficient reactions and more stable performance in applications such as battery materials and ferrites.

Function and use
New Energy Battery Materials: The ultrafine high-activity powder is applied to cathode materials of lithium manganese iron phosphate and lithium manganate, improving compaction density and electrochemical cycle performance.
Soft Magnetic Ferrite: Used for high-frequency manganese-zinc ferrites to reduce magnetic loss and enhance magnetic permeability. It is suitable for electronic components such as 5G communication devices and new energy power supplies.
High-end Ceramics & Coatings: It enables uniform coloring, and improves the gloss and hardness of ceramic glaze. As a weather-resistant pigment in coatings and inks, it features good dispersibility and stable color tone.
Fine Chemical Industry: Serves as the precursor for high-purity manganese salts (manganese nitrate, manganese chloride) and catalyst carrier, delivering higher reaction efficiency.
Packaging, storage and transportation
Packaging: Sealed in moisture-proof bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags, net weight 25kg per bag. Vacuum packaging is adopted for part of the products to prevent oxidation and caking.
Storage: Store in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse. Keep away from moisture, direct light and heavy pressure. Do not store together with acidic and oxidizing materials to avoid cross-contamination by dust.
Transportation: Protect the goods from rain and direct sunlight. Handle gently during loading and unloading to prevent package damage and powder caking. Keep dry in transit, as moisture or caking will impair product performance.
Fire Protection: In case of fire, use water, sand or fire extinguishers to put out the fire.
